Homeowners 'more confident' about personalising residence
Homeowners are increasingly looking to be more confident when they come to redecorate their residence.
Many may look to use Glasgow self storage facilities while carrying out refurbishments in their house and Rebecca Thompson, colour and design manager at Dulux, claimed a lot more colour is being used now than in the past.
"Dulux are encouraging people to decorate in an emotional, uplifting way, which affects any space you create and how you would interact in it," she said, suggesting this is contributing to the trend of individuals being more confident about personalising their home.
Ms Thompson added red is now a paint trend that has come into the mainstream and many homeowners will be using the shade when redecorating their residence in the coming months.
She recently recommended DIYers buy low-lying furniture such as storage units due to the fact this creates the illusion of more space in a room.
