Christmas Jumper Day 2016
What is National Christmas Jumper Day?
National Christmas Jumper Day is exactly what it says on the tin! Christmas Jumper Day is a day of festive fund raising across schools and offices organised by Save the Children, the leading charity in child welfare. How does it work? Simply pop on your favourite Christmas Jumper, (or break out the one that your Granny knitted you) and donate. It’s that easy!
Make the world better with a sweater!
The more money that’s raised each year, further Save the Children is able to extend their reach to vulnerable children. By donating only £2, you could pay for potentially lifesaving antibiotics to treat 3 babies with infections.
Now in its fifth year, National Christmas Jumper Day will fall on Friday the 16th of December.
Jumpers for Joy!
Businesses up and down Scotland will be looking their best in baubles this Friday, and Len’s Self Storage is no different. Across our four locations in Glasgow and Edinburgh, we’ll be wearing our woollies and donating! And we can’t wait to see each branch undergo a festive transformation!
You can join in the fun with us by following us on Facebook and Twitter, where we will be uploading photos of everyone’s efforts at each branch. Why not comment and tell us who will look their wintry best, the Glasgow branches or Edinburgh’s? And, don’t forget, that you can share your Christmas Jumper pictures, too.
If you’re getting involved don’t forget to donate to Save the Children, and spread your festive cheer around the world, one woolly jumper at a time! As a company we will be matching the sum of our staff’s donations.
Happy National Christmas Jumper Day!
